Green Bikes

Green Bikes is a program at Keene State College that takes old or broken bikes that are donated or left on campus and fixes them to rent to students and community members. The Green Bikes Workshop is located in the basement of Keddy Hall; this is where the bikes are fixed and painted green so they are ready to be rented out. Bikes are then brought to the library where students can check them out at anytime. The program aims to provide a bike to anyone in need regardless of their ability to pay. The Green Bikes goal is to provide the campus with free, healthy, and sustainable means of transportation, as well as the beautiful freedom that only a bicycle can provide.
